In early 2024, as CCPA announced strict penalties for greenwashing, we saw two converging trends: Indian consumers were increasingly seeking sustainable options, but brands had no clear way to prove their claims were authentic.
The market needed a solution that was both legally sound (CCPA-compliant) and consumer-friendly (easily verifiable). Existing certifications were either too generic, too expensive, or didn't address the specific needs of Indian D2C brands.
So we decided to build it ourselves. GreenXguard is designed specifically for the Indian market, focusing on the claims that matter most to Indian consumers and the compliance requirements that matter most to brands.
